Every order from Angel Oil Paintings by Art & See ships free to a single address anywhere in the world. The price at checkout already includes delivery. If an order has more than one painting, they may travel in separate parcels, also at no charge.

Painted after you order

Nothing is waiting on a shelf. The artist starts your painting by hand, in oil on canvas, once your payment is confirmed.

• Most paintings: 2 to 3 weeks
• Complex paintings: up to 4 weeks
• Large paintings: up to 8 weeks

Oil paint is applied in layers, and each layer has to dry before the next. Drying is slower in cold or humid weather, so these times can stretch. A painting is never shipped before it is dry.

A photograph before it ships

When the painting is finished you receive a photograph of it by email. If something needs adjusting, say so and the artist corrects it before it leaves the studio. It ships once you approve the photograph.

How it is packed

An unframed painting is varnished, covered with protective sheets and film, rolled, and shipped in a protective tube. Rolled canvas travels safely, and a framer can stretch it when it arrives.

A gallery-wrapped or framed painting cannot be rolled. It ships already stretched or framed, packed flat.

Tracking

When the painting is dispatched you get an email with a tracking number. How long delivery takes after that depends on where it is going, and occasionally on weather along the way.

Where it ships from

Our artists work in studios in several countries, and each painting ships from the studio that painted it. For most buyers that makes it an international shipment.

Customs and import duties

Prices and free shipping do not include import duties or taxes that the country of delivery may charge. The buyer is the importer of record: any duty is set by local customs and paid by the buyer, who is also responsible for meeting that country's import rules. Duties are not refunded if a painting is later returned.

Lost or damaged parcels

If a parcel is lost, arrives damaged or goes to the wrong address, write to info@art-and-see.com straight away with your order number and photographs of the packaging and the painting. We will work it out with you and the carrier.
